(FPGA Update fails and 10%).ĮPCS4N-9013x FPGA Altera Is almost dead so it's normal when i try to flash it on recovery it can't recover. So i opened it resoldered resistors, capacitors, masses, With air Heating Rework machine heated the Cpu, FPU, FPGA, Ram every connector and it's always Stuck on Update. I don't care so i decided to open it to see if it's just a bad solder on a small compenent as always. It doesn't work on any version from V81 Up to V92. I stopped there and decided to Restore the VCM to a V84 Version After multiple downgrade triyng on different Versions of IDS (Always in recovery mode). I don't care restart the VCM Red/Green and beeps every 1 second. Ok i start the Update after about 5 minuts it stucks at FPGA update problem. First time launch Bosch says i need to update the VCM.
Forscan vcm 2 drivers#
Then i decided to download the latest Bosch drivers for VCMII. Same problem, i don't see the VCM in the Manager.
Forscan vcm 2 install#
I thought there is a little bug with my installation so i install IDS V91 on Windows 7 and then try to detect VCMII. So i go to the car, connect the VCI it looks starting ok, Windows finds the correct drivers but VCI Manager for Ford-VCM don't see the VCMII. So i have received my VCMII and though everything will be okay when i will connect to the car. I recently had an issue with a Mazda III 1.6HDI 2006 the ECU has lost it's parameters of PATS System, so i decided to buy a VCMII (SP177-G) and installed the IDS Mazda V92.04 in a VmWare in order to repair the car. Just wanted to add my experience with this provider on this particular item.īut I have to say that I bought some other devices from the same supplier that worked perfect. I tried to use the OLD IDS v.86 application to recover the initial functions of the VCMII, and it does all procedures to the update, but the power on issue still persists. I managed successfully to *reset* the MCV ii to the factory state *whatever that means* So I decided to update the VCMII to a proper version to make it work with the JLR v.138 as instructed from whom I bought the piece of *s#!7*.Īfter the update procedure the MCV II tried to power up and seconds later goes dead.no light no beep. Then I installed the JLR v.138 and once it was installed it never communicated with the VCMII.I power on and sound the beep, the power light stayed on. I installed first the ford IDS v.86 since it was easy to install.the scanner worked perfectly. The VCMII suppose to work fine with IDS v.86 and V.91 as well as the JRL v138. Just wanted to inform about my experience with the clone VCMII.
